SIAO 2010

AfricaNow! is at SIAO 2010!

The Salon International de l’Artisanat de Ouagadougou is the world’s largest African handcrafts show, attracting more than 300,000 visitors to see more than 6,000 exhibitors from across the continent.

A week-long seminar series will promote professionally competing in world markets – the essence of AfricaNow! USAID’s West Africa Trade Hub and SIAO invite handcrafts producers and exporters to a series of seminars, which will take place daily October 30 to November 5.

Competing in international markets requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of market trends and export rules, the capacity to harness technology and the ability to leverage the trade benefits of the African Growth and Opportunity Act. Experts from USAID’s Trade Hub and invited experts will cover these and other aspects of competing in the 21st century.

Find out more and sign up on the Trade Hub website.
