For the past 24 years, Edwina Assan has been making people smile through her inspired and playful batik designs. Edwina and her team create wax batik fabrics and turn them into home accessories and bags. The motifs range from traditional adinkra symbols to flowers and geometric design – all set in richcolored, hand-dyed fabric.

Assan began sewing dresses when she was very young, and developed her hobby into a successful international business. "I love coming up with dierent designs and products, and seeing people appreciate it makes me want to do more". Today, Assan's line extends beyond her beautiful fabrics to include kitchen and bathroom accessories, tableware, pillow shams, handbags and wall hangings.
